Detainees Parents Support Committee

The DPSC was formed in the early 1980s to support detainees and their families and to expose the inequities of security legislation and its application. The material consists of letters, newsletters, campaign material as well as material received from other organisations. There are faxes concerning the death of Neil Aggett and reports listing detentions, bannings and deaths. They also investigated the need for ethical treatment of detainees and made known the excesses committed by security police.
